Yes, the Flame, once lit, is supposed to last come sun, rain or snow, but no-one obviously though about a gust of wind then. The delegates and dignitaries shouldn't have eaten all those baked beans this morning.
Well, having managed to overcome this embarrasing little hiccup, we have 70 days now til the flame gets to London.
Plenty of time for some alternative means of putting the flame out.
